How it works

Kinesiology works from the premise that the body is designed to heal itself. We all contain innate wisdom or a “knowing” what is best for us. Kinesiology utilises the method of muscle monitoring to gain access to that innate wisdom, whether at a conscious or subconscious level. The practitioner after thorough consultation asks many questions (with the muscle monitoring providing feedback) to uncover where stresses, imbalances, and blockages are in the body, mind and soul. We investigate symptoms and get to root causes to provide a holistic modality.

We can assume if people aren’t healing, (even when lifestyles are ideal), that the brain isn’t aware of whatever is going on. Our brains cleverly conceal information in order to protect us from overwhelm and traumatic stimulus. It just tries to get on with the job.

In my brand of Kinesiology, I utilise information and skills from many areas.
I look into:
• Nutrition
• Body systems (eg. endocrine, glands, lymphatic etc)
• Compromised DNA and cellular health
• Physiology (eg. organs)
• Anatomy (eg. spine, musculature etc),
• Neurology
• Trapped emotions/attitudes/limiting beliefs
• Energy (eg. Chakras, Meridians and Reiki techniques)
• Coaching techniques.

Holistic means that we are looking at the body as an integrated whole, where all the so-called parts of the body are interrelated with all the other parts… nothing works in isolation.

The science of bioenergy

Scientists first began measuring the heart’s electrical field with the discovery of the electrocardiogram machine (EKG) in 1895. Not too long ago, a new machine was developed called the magnetocardiogram (MCG), which measures the magnetic field of the heart instead of the electrical field. To their astonishment, scientists found that the heart’s magnetic field extends up to 12 feet in diameter around the body!

Muscle
Monitoring

The singular defining feature of Kinesiology is muscle monitoring. Muscles are completely controlled by nerves which all feed back into the spinal cord and brain (central nervous system). The practitioner works with muscles that enables them to gain information from the client’s innate awareness.

We ask the body a question.

The muscle either locks or unlocks

The response informs the next question/course of action.
